Peter Brown is a valuable member of the Singer Xenos team. He was a co-founder of Evensky & Brown, a fee-only financial advisory firm in Coral Gables, Florida. Before that, he was President and Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded Denver, Colorado firm that was involved in waste treatment and customized steel fabrication products.

Peter earned his MBA in Operations Research and Statistics from NYU, after completing his BS in Chemical Engineering at MIT. Peter has served on the board of Florida Savings Bank in Miami.

He has lectured on investment topics at the University of Miami, Barry University, and Florida International University and has been quoted in Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Barron’s, Kiplinger’s, Personal Finance, The Miami Herald, The Sun Sentinel, Money Magazine, Your Money Magazine, The Daily Business Review and Fund Marketing Alert.

Peter is a member of the Singer Xenos Investment Committee and serves as part of senior management. Both Faith Xenos and Marc Singer have considered Peter their mentor for over 20 years.
